Research on Quantifier Translaiton in Chinese-Mongolian MT System

Abstract：In the study of phrase-based statistical machine translation for Chinese-Mongolian, we noticed that there are some errors in the Chinese-Mongolian quantifier translation. This paper compares Chinese-Mongolian quantifier translation methods, concluding one-to-one,many-to-one, one-to-zero and one-to-many relations of translation between Chinese and Mongolian quantifier words. It is proved by experiment that the performance of the Chinese-Mongolian machine translation system can be improved by this method.
