Recognition of Tibetan Linking Verb and Existential Verb

Abstract:Tibetan linking verb and existential verb are commonly applied widely with rich ambiguous. In various contexts, their meanings include judgment, existence, possession, or evidentiality and egocentricity. The diversity of meaning brings difficulties to Tibetan text labeling and sentence pattern identification. We examine the characteristics of such words, build up a rule library, and finally proposed a linking verb and existential verb recognition method.
